The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a W-facing slope of Croughaun Hill, overlooking a col between the hill and the Comeragh Mountains to the W. Circular grass-covered area (diam. c. 25-30m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2m; int. H 0.5-0.8m; ext. H 1-1.5m) and outer fosse (D 0.5m) W-N-E. Elsewhere the bank is incorporated into a stone-faced field bank. The entrance (Wth 2.5m) is at N.
