The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a broad, low plateau in the valley of the Clodiagh River. Conglomerate stone with an irregular cross-section (dims. 0.2-0.4m x 0.7m; H 1.25m) oriented NW-SE which has been damaged. It is located 12m W of an enclosure (WA006-007----). An inspection in 2012 found that this stone is no longer at this location. The present location of the possible standing stone is unknown.

The above description is based on that from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
