The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a plateau with a ravine to the W. Oval scrub-covered area (dims. 56m N-S; 43m E-W) defined by the slight remains of an earthen bank (Wth 2.5m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 1m) and outer fosse (Wth at base 4m; D 0.3-0.7m) upslope N-E-S, both of which are reduced to a scarp (H 2-3.5m) and berm (Wth 4-7m) respectively, S-W-N. Within this platform and incorporating its perimeter E-SW is a raised subcircular platform (diam. 39m E-W; 31m N-S) defined by a scarp (H 0.5m) W-N-E, which may be the original monument.
