The National Monuments Service's description
Marked as an enclosure (diam. c. 40m) on the 1840 and 1926 eds. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a shoulder of a NE-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (dims. 31m NE-SW; 29m NW-SE) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2-3m; ext. H 0.4-0.8m). There is no visible fosse but the entrance (Wth 2.8m) is at SE and mature deciduous trees grow on the perimeter SE-NW. It is a possible landscape feature with a farmhouse c. 40m to the SE.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
