The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a broad plateau. Two conglomerate stones placed 15.75m apart form an ESE-WNW alignment. Each stone is aligned NNE-SSW. The E stone has a subrectangular cross-section (dims. 0.85-0.95m x 0.3-0.6m; H 1.85m). The W stone has a subrectangular cross-section (dims. 0.8-0.95m x 0.45-0.71m; H 1.77m).

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
