The National Monuments Service's description

Located on a gentle NE-facing slope. Slightly dished, grass-covered subcircular area (dims. 34m N-S; 32m E-W) defined by a slight scarp (H 0.2-0.6m). The entrance is visible as a slight dip in the perimeter at SSE.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
