The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on top of a low hill and immediately outside the bank of ringfort (WA002-027----) at NE. This is a stone with a rectangular cross-section (dims. 0.5m x 0.3-0.4m; H 1m) oriented E-W. Standing stone (WA002-078----) is c. 110m to the NE.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
