The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on top of an E-W ridge. Subcircular grass-covered area (diam. 29m E-W; 28m N-S) defined by an earthen bank N-SW, which is best preserved at N (Wth 3.3m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 1.2m), and a slight berm (Wth 4m) marked by vegetation change SW-N. There is no visible fosse, but the entrance (Wth 2.5m) is at E. A rath (WA001-019----) is c. 50m to the W.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
