The National Monuments Service's description
On level ground on the E shoulder of Crohan hill in the Knockmealdown Mountains. Coniferous plantation c. 100-150m to the S and W and c. 250m to the N. Circular cairn (dims. 17.3m N-S; 17.5m E-W; max. H 2.05m) with an outer ring of stones which appears to be delimiting the cairn, with irregular heaps of medium sized boulders within. Low heather is surrounding and encroaching on the base of the cairn.
