The National Monuments Service's description

In the E transept of an RC church, this crude sub-rectangular conglomerate stoup (H 0.24m; max. dims. 0.25m x 0.3m) with a sub-rectangular depression (max. dims. 0.17m x 0.22m; D 0.11m) and a lip 0.06m wide, is said to have come from the medieval church at Ballybacon (TS088-018002----). A baptismal font (TS088-072----) within the church is also said to have come from the medieval church.
