The National Monuments Service's description

According to Power (1908, 49) in the townland of Crohan there is a 'Cill Liath - "Grey Church"; a well-known sub-division. The site of the ancient church is now occupied by a farm house'. He also mentions a 'Cill Liath - “Grey Church”; an early church site now occupied by O'Donnell's farmhouse' (1908, 50-51) in the townland of Kilnacarriga, which is adjacent to E of Crohan. As these descriptions are almost identical it is likely that Power is referring to the same church. This monument is unlocated within Crohan/Kilnacarriga townlands.
