The National Monuments Service's description
There is no visible trace of this 17th-century house above ground. It is referred to in the Civil Survey (1654-6) as 'a thatch house ... without repaire within a Bawne [TS087-024002-] lately rebuilt by the Lady Everard' (Simington 1931, vol.1, 372). This house is unlocated within Ballyboy East townland, though a small portion of the enclosing bawn (TS087-024002-) does survive.
