The National Monuments Service's description
On natural rise in hilly terrain. Monument not accessible due to dense, impenetrable scrub. It is depicted on the 1st (1840) and 2nd (1907) ed. OS 6-inch map as a small, circular area. The 25-inch OS map depicts an irregular-shaped enclosure (dims. c. 30m N-S; c. 25m E-W), defined from W-N-SE by scarp which may have been quarried into in the E quadrant and by a bank from SE-S-W. Quite a wide fosse is indicated on the W side, from SW-W-NW. It is located immedately S of a large enclosure (TS087-011001-).
