The National Monuments Service's description

On very gradual SW-facing slope in gently undulating pastureland. There is no visible trace of the monument above ground. The field has been reclaimed but is very wet pasture. It is described as a levelled fulacht fia in the Cork-Dublin gas pipeline report (Cleary, Hurley and Twohig 1987, 7), though it was not excavated.
