The National Monuments Service's description
On a gradual E-facing slope in gently undulating pastureland. Circular area (diam. c. 40m) enclosed by earthen bank with some stone visible (Wth 1.6m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 1m) and outer fosse (W 2.6m; D 0.46m). A field bank runs parallel to the W quadrant, the intervening fosse has been filled in and used as a laneway, also an 11m length of bank has been levelled. A later field ditch running parallel to bank in E quadrant creates the impression of an flattened outer bank. In the N quadrant the fosse has been recut to form a later field drain and a concrete causeway has been built across this drain giving access to the ringfort. On the S side the bank has been largely denuded to form a scarp. The interior is very overgrown with a lot of scrub.
