The National Monuments Service's description

On the flat summit of ridge with ground falling to N in undulating pastureland. Oval area (diam. 55.5m N-S; 46.3m E-W) enclosed by earthen and stone bank (Wth. 2m crest; 4.35m base; ext. H 1.19m; int. H 0.82m). Entrance in E quadrant (Wth 2.4m). Bank has been quarried into in the E quadrant. Field bank and ditch skirt the ege of the monument in the SW sides. In the S quadrant only a length of bank (L c. 10m) survives, most of the bank material has been removed leaving a very shaley soil exposed. Quite a deep U-shaped depression at the base of outer face of the bank (ext. H 2.15m) in the SW sector, may be field ditch or surviving portion of external fosse (Wth 2m; D 0.55m). Gaps broken through bank in the NW and N quadrant.
