The National Monuments Service's description

According to the Civil Survey (1654-6) in Mullagh in 1640 there 'stands a thatcht house' and the proprietor is listed as having been 'Therlagh Neale of Mullagh deceased gent Irish Papist' (Simington 1931, vol. 1, 269). This house is unlocated within the townland of Mullagh.
