The National Monuments Service's description

S of the Clonmel to Waterford railway line. Identified as a large irregular enclosure on an aerial photograph (CUCAP July 1970 BDR 60). It appeared as a cropmark with evidence of a double fosse on the W side. The inner fosse appears to kink internally on the E side. Another cropmark (TS084-008002-) extends S from this enclosure. The enclosure is currently on the grounds of the Merck, Sharp and Dohme Plant and an access road has been built across it.
