The National Monuments Service's description
Incorporated in St. Patrick's holy well (TS083-004002-) there are two narrow stone-cut channels, whichare possibly reused flumes (TS083-004016-) of a horizontal mill (Manning 2007, 12-15). It is likely that the double flume was not transported to far from its original location, so the horizontal water mill is likely to be within Patrickwell townland. Currently unlocated.
