The National Monuments Service's description

An upright graveslab, embedded in the ground is situated 0.4m WNW of the NE angle of St. Michael's Chapel and 4.9m ENE of the NW angle of St. Michael's Chapel in St. Mary's graveyard (TS083-019020-). The slab of red sandstone (H 0.56m; Wth 0.54m; T 0.13m) has rounded top edges. It is decorated with a raised three armed-cross with fleur-de-lis terminals and a central plain cross within a lozenge formed by the arms and a barred-knop at the top of the cross-shaft. The remainder of the slab is buried. It is likely to be of late 13th/14th-century date.
