The National Monuments Service's description
According to the Civil Survey (1654-6) in 'Tulloemealane' there 'stands two thatcht houses with a double chemny in each of them' which in 1640 was under the proprietorship of 'James Prendergast of Tulloemeallane & Edmond Prendergast of New Castle Esqs' (Simington 1931, vol. 1, 324, 326). This house is unlocated within Tullaghmealan townland.
