The National Monuments Service's description

On gentle SE-facing slope in undulating hilly terrain, under meadow. Enclosure (TS082-076----) would have been visible to the SE. Monument indicated as small circular enclosure on 1st (1840) ed. OS 6-inch map with field boundary radiating from the NW and NW quadrants. By the 1904-05 ed. both the enclosure and these field boundaries are no longer depicted. The townland boundary, which runs roughly E-W immediately S of the enclosure, has a slight kink where it appears to have been respecting the monument. There is no visible trace of the enclosure above ground. The landowner remembers cutting hay in this field with his father in the late 1920s and there was no enclosure visible at that time.
