On the N-facing slope of a hill in generally undulating terrain. Rectangular possible enclosure (TS082-026----) situated c. 160m upslope to SE. Monument under tillage. This possible enclosure is marked on the 1st (1843) ed. OS 6-inch map as a rectangular area (dims. c. 27m NE-SW; c. 54m NW-SE) defined by trees. It is not indicated on the 1904-05 ed. The enclosure appears as a rectangular cropmark on aerial photographs (CUCAP July 1970 BDR 71; GSI May 1977 S.785/6). There is no visible trace of the enclosure above ground. It was possibly a landscape feature associated with Barn Demesne.
