The National Monuments Service's description
In fairly flat terrain, sloping slight to NW, in pastureland. An enclosure (TS081-029002-) is located 30m to the SW. Though the enclosure has been levelled it is barely discernible as a slightly raised, roughly circular area (diam. 35.7m N-S; 37m E-W), the S side is more pronounced. On the 1st (1840) ed. 6-inch OS map the enclosure is erroneously depicted immediately north of the adjacent enclosure. On the 2nd (1906) ed. OS 6-inch map only the W quadrant of the monument is depicted and the enclosure is bisected by a field boundary, which is now gone.
