The National Monuments Service's description
On a break of a NE-facing slope, at the edge of a precipice, beyond which the ground falls fairly steeply NE down to the Sheep River in a gorge below. In wet, rough upland pasture with a lot of reeds in the field. A small oval enclosure (int. diam. 6.5m N-S; 5.4m E-W; ext. diam. 11.2m N-S; 8.1m E-W) delimited by a rubble stone wall (Wth 1.5m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.75m), largely overgrown with grass and moss. The entrance (Wth 1.5m) is in the SE quadrant. There are some collapsed stones near the entrance in the interior which is quite wet and very rushy. According to local tradition this is a children's burial ground.
