The National Monuments Service's description

On flat ground in gently undulating terrain, in pasture. There are good views in all directions. A standing stone (0.55m x 0.52m; H 2m), rectangular in plan, was lying prostrate at this position before it was moved c. 20 years ago (c. 1980) c. 300m S and placed in an upright position in the front garden of a bungalow (see TS079-050----). It is currently completely obscured by the dense cover of a cotoneaster scrub. According to the landowner there were chisel marks on the side of the stone. A large circular enclosure (TS079-051----) lies c. 85m to the E.
