The National Monuments Service's description

According to the Civil Survey (1654-6) there was in this townland 'a good thatcht house' which in 1640 was under the proprietorship of 'Catherin Walle of ffyglasse widdow in right of Dower James Walle of Coolnemucky in the County of Waterford Esqr The Heire Irish Papist' (Simington 1931, vol. 1, 269). The exact location of this monument is unknown.
