The National Monuments Service's description
On the summit of Curraghadobbin Hill, centrally placed within a hillfort (TS079-024001-). The hill was formerly planted with conifers and recently replanted which has caused some damage to this denuded monument. An oval cairn of sandstone, some with quartz inclusions (diam. 18.6m N-S; 23.8m E-W; H 1-1.4m). Stones have been built up in the NW sector, probably to form the trigonometrical station, otherwise there is a central depression.
