The National Monuments Service's description
In Newtown Lennon graveyard (TS079-015003-), resting against the W wall of the graveyard and 2.4m S of the N wall. This is an unusually decorated tapering sandstone slab, it has been broken and the head and base are missing, the surviving slab (L 0.88m; Wth at top 0.5m; Wth at base 0.43m; D 0.12m) is perforated with a hole (diam. 0.05m) on its lower sinister side, the sides of which are quite worn, indicating re-use as a spud stone. The slab is decorated with the parallel incised lines of a cross-shaft with scrolls eminating from the shaft and zig-zag lines (incised chevrons) running from top to bottom along the outer face of the slab.
