The National Monuments Service's description
On a gradual SE-facing slope in undulating terrain, in pasture. Top of cairn (TS078-001----) on Slievenamon just visible on crest of mountain. Grey sandstone conglomerate, aligned NE-SW. Rectangular in plan (L 0.47m; Wth 0.33m; H 1.34m). It is weathered giving a slightly rounded appearance to the angles. The top of the stone slopes, rising to the SW.
