The National Monuments Service's description
Described in the Civil Survey (1654-6) as 'a corn Mill upon a small brooke' in 'Ballynaclony & Lissodobur' owned in 1640 by 'Hugh Neale of Ballyneale Esqre Irish Papist' (Simington 1931, vol. 1, 267). This mill is unlocated within the townland of Ballynacloona, though it was probably on the Glenbower river which flows through the E of the townland.
