The National Monuments Service's description

In improved pasture, on a level area, on upper edge of an E-facing slope. Identified by aerial photography (ASIAP (37) 6, 7, 11) as a sub-circular cropmark conjoined to enclosure (TS077-114002-) to S. The remains of a sub-circular area (dims. 26m N-S; 22m E-W) defined by levelled scarp (Wth 2m; H 0.5m) NW-N-E and SW-W-NW (Wth 3m; H 0.2m) and the remains of a fosse (basal Wth 1.5m; overall Wth 5.2m; D 0.15m) NW-N-NE which is also traceable (Wth 4.5m; D 0.1m) SW-W-NW. The monument is defined by a field boundary (Wth at top 0.45m; total Wth 3.8m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.85m), which may incorporate a bank and fosse-like depression (basal Wth 1.2m; overall Wth 3.75m; D 0.15m) in the N quadrant. The field boundary to the W has been removed.
