The National Monuments Service's description

At base of a N-facing slope in a small valley which runs E-W. Large, irrgularly shaped graveyard (dima. 66m N-S; 76m E-W) with church (TS077-085----) located near the southern boundary. Graveyard at junction of three roads. The surrounding fields are a mixture of pasture and tillage. The Civil Survey (1654-6) refers to the 'Church of Killgrant' with one and a half acres of the three acres of glebeland being situated E of the church and fenced with a ditch (Simington 1931, vol. 1, 285). The graveyard is occupied by mostly 18th, 19th and 20th-century headsones. The earliest visible dates to 1732 and is immediately S of the E end of the church. An overgrown vault is located immediately N of the chancel.
