The National Monuments Service's description

On a gentle E-facing slope in gently undulating terrain, piggery situated to SW. Gravel roadway with high earthen bank on N side runs adjacent to the N quadrant. Tower house (TS077010001-) at Lisronagh visible c. 1.2km to NE and Donaghmore church (TS077-027001-) visible c. 1.5m to NW. This ringfort has been subject to disturbance. Circular area (diam. 29.7m N-S; E-W not obtainable due to heavy growth in E quadrant) defined by scarp (H 0.7m); round-bottomed fosse (Wth 2.3m; D 1.2m) and outer bank (Wth 2.2m crest, 5.3m base; ext. H 0.6m). The bank has been modified with a lot of refuse mixed-up with bank material, and it has been planted with conifers. Bank gone in N quadrant, on the 2nd (1906) ed. OS 6-inch map the outer bank is only depicted in SW quadrant. The inner scarp has also been levelled in N quadrant. The interior is planted with coniferous and deciduous trees. The S and E quadrants are badly overgrown. A possible roadway (TS077-030002-) appears to run from this ringfort towards the medieval settlement at Lisronagh to the NE.
