The National Monuments Service's description
On flat ground in gently undulating terrain. On the 1st (1840) ed. OS 6-inch map a small rectangular enclosure is shown as 'Supposed Site of Church'. The church and earthworks (TS077-015002-) are indicated on the 2nd (1906) ed. OS 6-inch map. The depicted earthworks do not quite correspond with those visible in the field. Where the church is indicated on the map there is a roughly circular earthwork (dims. c. 12.2m N-S; 12.6m E-W) defined by a broad, partially levelled bank. An L-shaped bank runs N-S (L 10m) W of the earthwork and the S end turns westward for a short length. However, another rectangular enclosure (TS077-015004-) (dims. 17.7m N-S; 10.7m E-W), immediately to the NE, may be the church. It is defined by a broad, flattened bank to E and W sloping very gradually to interior.
