The National Monuments Service's description
According to Power (1907, 289-92), in Kilmolash there is an 'early church site' which 'was discovered with difficulty on Mr. Kiely's farm and some few perches to north of a now disused road'. A church is also mentioned in the Civil Survey (1654-6), 'The sd pish includeing the two Chapples of Ease therein comonly called Kilmolash & Tampletunny lyinge and beinge in the Barony of Iffay and Offay' (Simington 1931, vol. 1, 373).The precise location of this former church is unknown within the townlands of Kilmolash Lower and Kilmolash Upper.
