The National Monuments Service's description

Within Mortlestown Graveyard (TS076-027003-). According to a reference on file in Tipperary South Riding County Museum 'This site is a graveyard with remains of a medieval church within a sub-circular enclosure...has 17th century graveslabs'. While the graveyard was under lush grass at time of inspection no 17th-century graveslabs were noted. All the visible headstones are of 18th-century date. It is likely that the graveslabs noted were in fact headstones dating from the 1700s which were erroneously described as being of 17th-century date.
