The National Monuments Service's description

In fairly level low-lying terrain, gently undulating to SW, in lush pasture. Ringfort (TS076-022001-) visible c. 120m to W, ringwork (TS076-022004-) visible c. 60m to SW and enclosure (TS076-022003-) is located immediately to to S, possibly conjoined. This enclosure has been levelled but is still apparent as a raised area (dims. c. 48m NE-SW), though not clearly defined to S. A field boundary runs NE-SW along S edge of the monument, dividing it from the enclosure S of the boundary. On the 1st (1840) ed. OS 6-inch map (TS076-022002-) and (TS076-022003-) appear to be conjoined. The enclosure shows up on an aerial photograph (CUCAP 13 July 1966 APA I). It appear to consist of a roughly triangular shape, with the field boundary forming one side. It appears to have been defined by a bank and external fosse.
