The National Monuments Service's description

On a S-facing slope in upland terrain, in rough pasture. There is scrub around the edge of the enclosure. Slightly irregular-shaped large enclosure (diam. 91.5m N-S; 95m E-W) enclosed by bank (Wth 1.6m crest, 2.6m base; int. H 0.76m; ext. H 1m) and shallow outer fosse (Wth 1.5-1.8m; D 0.22m). Downslope in the S quadrant the bank is reduced to scarp (H 1.09m over 5.4m). The interior slopes S with the incline. There is a slight break in slope c. 10m immediately S of the S bank of the enclosure. A large quarry extends up to the W bank of the monument. The W bank is particularly large and has probably been augmented by spoil from the quarry. Two wrecked cars lie abandoned in the NE quadrant. There is an old ring-feeder in the SE quadrant. The bank defining the N and E sides is a typical field bank, that in the E sector has an internal ditch.
