The National Monuments Service's description
Formerly situated at Toureen Peacaun monastery (TS075-023----) and currently unlocated. The cross-slab is listed in Waddell and Holland's (1990, 171, fig. 6.29) catalogue. The stone had been built into the internal face of the E gable of the church (TS075-023001-) and is recorded there in a photograph taken in the 1960s (Okasha and Forsyth (2001, 309-10).The stone is missing and is described by Okasha and Forsyth (2001, 309-10) based on Waddell and Holland’s description as a small slab (H c. 0.12m; Wth c. 0.15m) which was 'a fragment of a slab of unknown form. Incised on its visible face were the remains of an outline equal-armed cross. The three extant limbs almost filled the then extant portion of slab'. It is listed as Toureen Peacaun 50 (ibid.). The stone was uncovered during the 1944 excavation (Duignan 1944, 227).
