The National Monuments Service's description
Formerly situated at Toureen Peacaun monastery (TS075-023----) and currently unlocated. The cross-slab is listed in Waddell and Holland's (1990, 171, fig. 4.9) catalogue. The stone had been built into the internal face of the E gable of the church (TS075-023001-) and is recorded there in a photograph taken in the 1960s (Okasha and Forsyth (2001, 305).The stone is missing and is described by Okasha and Forsyth (2001, 305-06) from Waddell and Holland’s scale drawing and the 1960s photograph as a small slab (H c. 0.27m; Wth c. 0.19m) which was 'part of a slab of unknown form. Incised…was the remains of an outline Latin cross. Above it was a single horizontal line of text'. It is listed as Toureen Peacaun 47 (ibid.). The stone was uncovered during the 1944 excavation (Duignan 1944, 227).
