The National Monuments Service's description
Formerly situated at Toureen Peacaun monastery (TS075-023----) and currently unlocated. The cross-slab is listed in Waddell and Holland's (1990, 171, 175, fig. 6.38) catalogue where it is described as being in the National Museum. However, according to Okasha and Forsyth (2001, 299) there is no record of it in the National Museum. The description is based on its depiction in the Waddell and Holland article. A small slab (H c. 0.24m; Wth c. 0.22m) which was 'a fragment of a slab of unknown form. Incised…are the remains of a linear Latin cross' (Okasha and Forsyth 2001, 299). It is listed as Toureen Peacaun 42 (ibid.). The stone was uncovered during the 1944 excavation (Duignan 1944, 227).
