The National Monuments Service's description
This stone is currently incorporated into the interior E wall of a church (TS075-023001-). It is described by Okasha and Forsyth (2001, 265-6) as a small slab (H c. 0.3m; Wth c. 0.17m; T c. 0.01m visible) and is 'part of a slab of unknown form. Incised on its visible face is an outline equal-armed cross with rectangular expansions at the terminals and a square expansion at the crossing. A fragmentary text is set in a horizontal line above the cross with the final letter touching the top of the upper cross-arm'. It is listed as Toureen Peacaun 25 (ibid.). The stone was uncovered during the 1944 excavation (Duignan 1944, 227; Macalister 1949, 213).
