The National Monuments Service's description

In the S sector of an ecclesiastical enclosure (TS074-010----) known as St. Berrihert's Kyle and incorporated in an oval stone enclosure, stepped internally, built by the OPW in 1946 (Ó hÉailidhe 1967, 102). This slab is located in the SE sector, at ground level. It is described by Ó hÉailidhe (1967, 111) as slab 24, composed of red sandstone (dims 0.66m x 0.34m; T 0.065m). 'Outlined, equal-armed cross with rounded hollows in the angles. Defined by a broad pocked line, 3mm deep. Back of stone is blank' (ibid.).
