The National Monuments Service's description
In the S sector of an ecclesiastical enclosure (TS074-010----) known as St. Berrihert's Kyle and incorporated in an oval stone enclosure, stepped internally, built by the OPW in 1946 (Ó hÉailidhe 1967, 102). This slab is located in the E sector, on top of the wall. It is described by Ó hÉailidhe (1967, 110-11) as slab 15A/15B, composed of red sandstone (dims 0.6m x 0.22m; T 0.09m). 'Latin cross in low relief (3mm). Round hollows are inside the angles on the face of the cross. Reverse of 15A. An outlined cross with very short shaft and very slight double-rounded hollows in the angles. A single line from the bottom of the shaft terminates in a round hollow. The composition is defined by a lightly pocked line' (ibid.).
