The National Monuments Service's description
On an E-facing slope NE of Knocknanuss mountain in the Galty mountain range. On a raised platform, the E side of which was built-up (H 1.6m) to provide a level surface for the hut site. An oval structure (int. dims. 5m N-S; 9m E-W) with walls (T 0.85) of collapsed red sandstone. A small rectangular stone structure (dims. c. 2.4m) lies immediately SE of hut site.
