The National Monuments Service's description

In level pasture, to S-side of field boundary. No visible surface trace. Area truncated by recently cut drain (long-axis NW-SE). Pond c. 28m to SSW. Identified as a sub-circular area (diam. 30m) on aerial photograph (GSI S.650/49, 16.04.1974). Not depicted on 1840 OS 6-inch map.
