The National Monuments Service's description

Mullally (1862-3, 247) refers to the 'ruins of another residence of the O'Kearneys are yet extant at Cappaghmore, near Cloneen'. This may have been a 17th century house. Cappagh House in the townland is a two-storey, rubble built house of late 18th/early 19th century date. The house described by Mullally is unlocated within Cappaghmore townland.
