The National Monuments Service's description
According to the Civil Survey (1654-6) in ‘Darrylouskan', which in 1640 was under the proprietorship of ‘James Butler of Derrilouskan Irish Papist’ there was 'a Cornemill standing upon a little streame w[hi]ch is drie in Sumer' (Simington 1931, vol. 1, 187). This watermill is unlocated within the townland.
