The National Monuments Service's description
A 17th-century graveslab was recorded (Vigors 1891, 486) in the graveyard (TS070-101002-) associated with the medieval church of Kiltinan (TS070-101001-). The inscription in latin was transcribed (ibid.) as: HIC JACET JACOBUS BRITTISS DE KELOSTY GENEROSUS QUI OBIIT NOV. 25, 1621, EJUS UXOR KATHERINE MEAGHER QUI ME FIERI FECERUNT IPSIS ET HEAREDIBUS [HEREDIBUS] SUIS SEPr 15, 1623'. A translation of the inscription by Quinn (1898-1900, vol. 3, 117) which reads, 'James Butler of Kiltinan died 18th Nov 1621 his wife Kathleen Meagher died 15 February 1623 Thomas Butler Baron of Dunboyne died 7th May 1600', appears to be erroneous as the latin inscription would translate as 'Here lies James Brittas of Killusty gentleman who died November 25 1621 and his wife Katherine Meagher who had this monument made for him and his descendants September 15 1623. Though this graveslab could not be located, it is likely to still be within the graveyard.
